You can submit a business case to request additional funding for 16-19 funding for the upcoming academic year, once you’ve received your funding allocation statement.

The business case deadline for all institutions to return any business cases in relation to significant data error or exceptional circumstances affecting their allocation for this year was 30 April 2020.

If your business case was received by 30th April 2020, we aim to communicate outcomes for straightforward data error cases within 20 working days of receiving your completed business case template.

For more complex business cases, we will aim to respond by late June 2020.

Late business case submissions

If you submit your business case after the deadline of 30th April 2020 has passed, we aim to let you know the outcome as soon as possible, but for some of the more complex or late cases you might receive decisions from July onwards.

If you would like further information on the allocation timeline, please read our information on 16 to 19 funding allocations.
