From: Education and Skills Funding Agency

The TPG and TPECG will continue into the 2020 to 2021 financial year.

We intend to include funding for pay and pension increases within the core funding schools receive as part of their national funding formula (NFF) allocations by 2021 to 2022.

As academies are funded on an academic year basis, they will also be paid TPG and TPECG for April to August 2021, until they receive their 2021 to 2022 National Funding Formula (NFF) allocations from September 2021.

How are the pay grants calculated

We have also published guidance for the teachers' pay grant methodology and pension grant methodology.
