Retake GCSE to improve grade
Created
Hi all,
are we able to fund a 16-18 year old to fund a GCSE to improve a GCSE grade in english and maths from a 5 to a 6 for example?
Im assuming it cant be funded as they have already met condition of funding so would this just be non funded as we cant charge fees to those aged 16-18?

As long as there are Good Educational Reasons (P89) and the learner is actually going to classes then you can count the hours.
(Good Educational Reasons in this case would usually be to improve their chances of getting into the HE course of their choice)
