Hi Sarah
Yes, the minimum duration requirement exception can be used in this circumstance. Hopefully the learner is arriving to you with their "record of achievement" from their previous provider which should take some of the guesswork out of how long they were on-programme (and therefore how much funding is left!) and what they have left to do?

Change in employer AND training provider
Created
Hi All,
Help required please.
The rules are clear when it comes to an apprentice change of employer or change in training provider however what if both occur. We are a training provider and an apprentice has changed to an employer who we deliver apprenticeship programmes for. If the apprentice is continuing on the same programme (from previous provider & employer) could they restart with us if they have less than 12 months remaining of their practical period?
Many thanks in advance.
Sarah
