Change of employer after planned end date


We have a learner who is past their planned end date but is still engaged in learning .  However, they are now changing employer and I am just seeking some guidance as to how we record start/end dates within the paperwork.  I understand that we can not amend the end date on the ILR however I assume that we should put a new end date of practical period/new planned end date on the commitment statement/apprenticeship agreement that we are completing with the new employer and that we would charge the 20% completion fee?

Being past their planned end date is a red herring, it is no different for any other change of employer. and what you say looks correct.
