AEB learner on maternity
Edited
I have a potential learner who is on statutory maternity pay and receiving Universal credits. She informed us she receives £150 statutory maternity pay and £750 Universal credits a month. Would she be classed as low wage pilot as she is employed but on leave therefore, I would need to see evidence or a contract or a payslip? I believe she would be over the threshold in employment but is not while on maternity leave

Low wage is based on income from a salary hence why the evidence requirements are a wage slip/contract. Therefore you would have to see her wage slip to evidence that she doesnt earm above the threshold. As far as im aware income from a benefit does not count
