This one confuses me! With the FS aims where the traineeship learner did not complete the FS, and is progressing to an Apprenticeship and requires the FS still - how do I record this in the ILR?
For example, we have a learner who completed Traineeship in June 2021, and progressed to the Apprenticeship in July 2021. Do we leave the FS aims from June 2021 set as Continuing under the Traineeship ILR? We have recorded like this previously, but always had issues with the MI System recording like this.

See the PSM guidance:
Transfer from traineeship to an apprenticeship
Where a 16-19 or Adult skills funded learner transfers from a traineeship to an apprenticeship and stays with you as the same provider, all aims in the traineeship programme must be closed with a Withdrawal reason of ‘transfer’ (code 40). New aims being undertaken as part of the apprenticeship programme are recorded.
If the learner is continuing with an English or maths aim that they have already started as part of the traineeship programme, then this aim must be recorded as closed and a new aim opened as part of the apprenticeship programme using Funding model code 36.
Funding adjustment for prior learning field must be completed, and the negotiated price (AFinType = TNP) for the apprenticeship programme must take into account any learning already done on these aims.
If an Adult skills funded learner transfers to an apprenticeship with a different provider, all aims in the traineeship programme must be closed and the appropriate Withdrawal reason code recorded.
