FRM 37 minimum OTJ Hours

Created

we have a few learners that work part time, term time only, we have extended their LOS and have calculated the OTJ hours based on this but we are getting the FRM37 error. should i increase the OTJ hours to a minimum amount? none of the guidance gives an exact number to use as minimum OTJ hours

Have you adjusted the Apprentices working hours on the ILR so this represents the average annual hours as they are term time only as this will cause issues with FRM 37 if you have not done so?

Joanne Elbourn

Yes i believe so, the apprentice works 16 hours a week, 4 days a week, 39 weeks a year, for 24 months is coming in at 203 hours OTJ

You should have a minimum of 278 OTJ hours to comply with a minimum duration programme of 52 weeks over 12 months.

Thank you Martin
