So we wouldn't change the ILR, but we would recalculate the hours for the Commitment Statement for the new employer.
The importance of the calculation depends on if it's a marginal change or a major change and, most importantly, whether a reduction in hours will take them, on average, below 30 hours a week. So 37.5 hours a week to 35 isn't a massive issue or vice versa, but you'd still need to recalculate the hours. If they were doing 31 hours with the old employer, and 20 with their new one, then it gets more complicated, because you'll have to extend the length (particularly if it's a short programme). This does not mean changing the Planned End Date in the ILR but the Commitment Statement/App Agreement would have a different planned end on.

Hi, if an Apprentice moves Employer and their working hours are either increased or decreased, how does this impact on the required off the job hours and the ILR? Thank you.
