The rule/requirement for an identifier is still active, it's the criteria that has changed;

From 1 April 2022, new Employer Identifier numbers are no longer issued. Please use a value of 999999999 where the employer does not exist on the Employer Data Service. There is no longer a requirement to update this within 60 days.
Ah! Thank you :)
I was looking at the latest validation rules (released in April) and missed that bit as well:
Rule Name | Rule Description |
EmpId_10 | If the learner is undertaking an apprenticeship programme (DD07 = Y), and the aim is a programme aim (LearningDelivery.AimType = 1), and is 'in paid employment' (LearnerEmploymentStatus.EmpStat = 10) on the programme start date, then there must be an Employer identifier that applies to the programme start date (error where LearnerEmploymentStatus.EmpID is unknown) |

Is anyone else getting any EmpID_10 errors for starts on or after 1st April 2022:
If the learner is undertaking an apprenticeship programme and is 'in paid employment' on the programme start date, then there must be an Employer identifier that applies to the programme start date
I understood they have stopped requiring an EDRS now yet we have this error for a new apprentice?
