Restarting Apprentice (OTJ plan for restart)

Hi there,

I've been looking for some guidance on an apprentice who withdrew due to losing an employer and not finding one within 30 days.

The learner now wishes to restart the same apprenticeship with the same provider.

Questions:

Do you just plan the OTJ from the restart to end of the new practical period, or do you take into account the time previously on the apprenticeship and combine the hours?
Do you use the original learning start date field, I'm edging toward NO from looking at the ILR support manual which would mean the new employer would be eligible for incentives.

Planned off-the-job training hours for the individual apprentice over the full apprenticeship (excluding the end point assessment period) by the training provider, sub-contracted training providers and the employer.
Incentives only apply to new starts on an Apprenticeship, and this is a restart not a new start.
