2022/23

We base the overall QAR on the hybrid end year, which is the later of:

• the achievement year of an apprenticeship
• the actual end year of an apprenticeship
• the planned end year of an apprenticeship
• the reporting year

So for example, if I have a co hort of learners on an Apprenticeship standard with an expected end date of 10/07/2022 and they complete on this date ready for EPA, EPA takes place on 11/09/2022, my achievement rate will be 0% due to EPAO timeframes?

They will complete on or after 11/09/2022 and as the latest date will be the achievement year the hybrid end year would be 2022/23 they will not be recorded as completers in 2021/22.

Thanks Martin, so my achievement rate would be 0% for something that is beyond my control?

That’s not the case as these learners will be recorded in the QAR when the EPA is completed and that will be against the hybrid end year 22/23.
