Zero hours contracts
P37 Zero-hours contracts are acceptable only where all of the other funding rules can be met.
P37.1 For an apprentice with a zero-hour contract you must extend the duration of the apprenticeship in proportion to the hours they work.
P37.2 The employer must allow the apprentice to complete the off-the-job training within their normal working hours, in addition to any English and maths training they require. They must provide you with evidence of this for you to keep in the evidence pack.
