Oh, forgot I had this from a nameless someone at ESFA...
It is possible, that providers who are delivering qualifications in the Free Courses for Jobs Offer, might think that those qualifications have been removed from the FCFJ offer when they see the end date in Adult Skills. This is not the case. The majority of aims in this offer, are currently in Advanced Learner Loans, so do not need Adult Skills validity (if they are using the appropriate LDM code – 378).
Quoting Steve;
Yeah, it's a mess...
Looking at the Validation Rules, I think *anything* you flag as FCFJ with LDM code 378 just ignores *all* of the LDNS rules?
Clearly this is BLOODY USELESS if you want to look something up to see if it's deliverable...
Hang on, WHAT?! I would have thought the Adult Skills LDNS trumped all the category Effective To dates that come under Funding ID 35. So the Adult Skills LDNS shows where it has expired for adult funding, except where it hasn't?
Good grief. We use LDNS in our college planning, as we can import it into our MI system. I have already spoken to our software provider about pulling in more FALA data (such as the category details), but this make that more urgent.

National Skills Fund Learning Aim Help
Created
Hi
Looking to fund a learning aim under National Skills Fund the info on Find a Learning Aim advises the last day for starts was Nov 22 however the aim is still on the list of qualifications list for National Skills Funding. The awarding body only have the one option available.
Is this fundable can we disregard last date for new starts? Any advice welcome.
thanks
