Does anyone know if you have to return all staff or just teaching and support roles? The guidance states You do not need to complete a staff record for an individual in a support role that is not directly supporting learning, e.g. catering, maintenance or other such service support roles. Would this include admin roles? The excel template does state if the staff member is admin. Thanks Chris

HI Clare ultimately to keep the hours you need to show that the work placement was planned. Where an industry placement is recorded, it must contain at least 315 planned hours, additional to the student's T Level or study programme, and it must normally be with no more than two external employers. Key word being planned. I don't believe that your work placements for T-Levels would be included in your QAR?? We work a basis that if a learner starts and attends their study programme work placement or we can prove that is was due to go ahead we keep the hours for it. We would either have electronic attendance registers and employer reviews too to show the learner attended. If the learner never started their placement we would ask the employer to email us to confirm the work placement durations as audit evidence. There is some guidance here https://www.gov.uk/guidance/applying-for-and-delivering-industry-placements-capacity-and-delivery-fund-cdf-for-the-2021-to-2022-academic-year Hope this helps Chris

Oh so its just the Maths and English report from the submit learner data page. I thought I was missing out some special suite of reports from the agency.

HI Helen The guidance states All study programmes should include work experience and non-qualification activities that complement the other elements of the programme and support the student to progress to further or higher education (HE) or to employment.

Should be fine as long its timetabled and you have the attendance records for audit. 100. Planned hours are those that are directly related to the student’s study programme and that: a. are timetabled, organised and/or supervised by the institution b. take place in line with the institution’s normal working pattern
